To become a speaker of the conference
Interested persons who would like to present a talk at the conference are asked to send (before February 1, 2021) the title and abstract of the talk to the Conference Secretary by e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org). We also should like to ask all persons, who are interested in participating at the conference, to fill in and send from our web site an Application Form (see also below).
Russian entrance visa
Participants from foreign countries are kindly asked to fill in the Application Form and send it from our web site (Application Form) to the Organizing Committee before February 1, 2021. We should also like to ask participants to send us a copy of the passport page(s) (.jpg format in the e-mail attachment to the address of the Organizing Committee). Upon receipt of the filled-in Application Form and a copy of passport page(s) we shall send to the participant a confirmation e-mail message. If for some reason the reply e-mail message from the Organizing Committee with the conformation of the reception of the participant’s Application Form and copy of passport page(s) would not arrive to the participant’s account, please send your Application Form to the Organizing Committee by e-mail.
Using the filled-in Application Form and a copy of passport page(s), we shall prepare an official invitation letter and send it to the participant by post (please indicate in the Application Form the exact address to which you prefer to receive the official invitation letter). The official invitation letter is needed for the application for the entrance visa at the Russian consulate. It takes not less than two months for the organizers to prepare and send an official invitation letter to a participant. That is why we would like to ask all participants to send:
1) the application for participation (by e-mail to the organizers),
2) the filled-in Application Form (from the web site of the conference) and
3) a copy of the passport page(s) ( .jpg format in the e-mail attachment to the address of the organizing committee)
as soon as possible.
Arrival to Moscow
Participants and accompanying persons are expected to arrive to Moscow on the 18th of August, 2021. The opening session of the conference will be held on the 19th of August morning at the Faculty of Physics of the Moscow State University. Participants will be picked up by the organizers at the Moscow International Scheremetievo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo Airports and brought to the conference hotel or university campus.
Accommodation rates, conference fees and social programme
The approximate daily rates per person including the cost of accommodation at the conference hotel (breakfast + lunch, transportation from the airport to the conference hotel, and transportation from the hotel to the conference site on the working days of the conference are included) are as follows:
a) single room – 110 Euro, b) double room – 70 Euro.
The cost of accommodation at the university campus is 40 Euro per person per night (lunch is included for the days of the conference). These values can slightly vary and will be finally fixed 5 month prior to the conference.
Registration fee for a participant is 450 Euro, registration for accompanying persons is 250 Euro. Registration fees will cover: 1) the cost of the conference proceedings for participants (proceedings of the Lomonosov Conferences are published by World Scientific Publishing Co, Singapore), 2) reception and closing banquets and coffee breaks during the working days of the conference, 3) transportation to the conference banquet and from banquet to the hotel or the university campus, 4) the two excursions:
1) the reception banquet will be held on board of a ship that will stream along the river across the central part of Moscow on the 19th of August evening; closing banquet will be held at the conference site on the 25th of August afternoon;
2) two excursions will be held for participants and accompanying persons:
– the sight-seeing bus excursion in Moscow with English speaking guide on the 20th of August,
– the bus tour to the ancient Russian town Sergiev Posad (75 km away from Moscow) with visit to the Saint Serge Abbey, the historical and icon museums, lunch will be served at the Russian Orthodox Academy on the 22th of August.
It will be also possible to organize excursions for accompanying persons during the working days of the conference to different museums and places of interest in Moscow by special requests.
