TWENTY- SECOND LOMONOSOV CONFERENCE ON ELEMENTARY PARTICLE PHYSICS

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 22nd  Lomonosov Conference on Elementary Particle Physics which will be held at the Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia, from 21 to 27 of August, 2025. While the local organizing committee is already working to ensure the personal participation of colleagues in the 22nd  Lomonosov Conference, however, taking into account possible global medical and political constraints, remote participation in the event will also be possible.

The 22nd Lomonosov Conference is dedicated to the 270th anniversary of the Moscow State University.

The 17th International School on Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics, dedicated to the 10th anniversary since the Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to Arthur McDonald  and  Takaaki Kajita for the experimental confirmation of the neutrino oscillations phenomenon.

The conference is organized by the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State University in cooperation with the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna) and  the Institute for Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow) with the participation of the Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics of MSU and is supported by the Interregional Centre for Advanced Studies and Bruno Pontecorvo Laboratory on Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics (MSU).

The series of the Lomonosov Conferences started to be held on a regular basis in the year 1992, and since 1993 the conferences have been organized each odd year.

The Lomonosov Conferences bring together about 400 theorists and experimentalists to review the present status and future prospects in elementary particle physics. The programme of the 22nd Lomonosov Conference will include:

Standard Model and Beyond,

Physics at Present and Future Accelerators,

Neutrino Physics,

Astroparticle Physics,

Gravitation and Cosmology,

Strong Interactions and Heavy Physics,

Formal Theory.

The 22nd st Lomonosov Conference will be opened on August 21, 2025 at the Faculty of Physics of the Moscow State University.

The working time of the conference is distributed among the following types of presentation:

— Review Talks (25 min) that will be held on the morning sessions of the conference,

— Session Reports (20 min) in the afternoon,

— Brief Reports (15 min) in the afternoon,

— Special Sessions of short presentations (5-10 min) and poster sessions are planned for the

conference.

The proceedings of the 22nd  Lomonosov Conference will be published as a series of papers in a special issue of Moscow University Physics Bulletin (Allerton Press, Inc.).

Interested persons are kindly asked to make registration to attend (to fill in and send to the Organizing Committee the Application Form) before April 15,  2025. This can be done directly from our web site http://lomcon.ru/ or by sending the filled-in Application Form to the conference organizers by e-mail [email protected] .
