TWENTY-FIRST LOMONOSOV CONFERENCE ON
ELEMENTARY PARTICLE PHYSICS

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 21st Lomonosov Conference on Elementary Particle Physics which will be held at the Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia, from 24 to 30 of August, 2023. While the local organizing committee is already working to ensure the personal participation of colleagues in the 21st Lomonosov Conference, however, taking into account possible global medical and political constraints, remote participation in the event will also be possible.

The 21st Lomonosov Conference is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Faculty of Physics of MSU (that is celebrated in 2023), the 270th anniversary of the Moscow State University (2025) and the Tercentenary anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2024).

The 15th International School on Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of Bruno Pontecorvo, will also be held during the 21st Lomonosov Conference.

The conference is organized by the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State University in cooperation with the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna) and  the Institute for Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow) with the participation of the Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics of MSU and is supported by the Interregional Centre for Advanced Studies and Bruno Pontecorvo Laboratory on Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics (MSU).

The series of the Lomonosov Conferences started to be held on a regular basis in the year 1992, and since 1993 the conferences have been organized each odd year.

The Lomonosov Conferences bring together about 400 theorists and experimentalists to review the present status and future prospects in elementary particle physics. The programme of the 21st Lomonosov Conference will include:

Electroweak Theory, Tests of Standard Model and Beyond,
Neutrino Physics, Astroparticle Physics,
Gravitation and Cosmology,
Developments in QCD (Perturbative and Non-Perturbative Effects),
Heavy Quark Physics,
Physics at Present and Future Accelerators.

It is planed that the 21st Lomonosov Conference will be opened on August 24, 2023 at the Faculty of Physics of the Moscow State University

The working time of the conference is distributed among the following types of presentation:
— Review Talks (25 min) that will be held on the morning sessions of the conference,
— Session Reports (20 min) in the afternoon,
— Brief Reports (15 min) in the afternoon,
— Special Sessions of short presentations (5-10 min) and poster sessions are planned for the
conference.

The proceedings of the 21st Lomonosov Conference will be published as a series of papers in a special issue of Moscow University Physics Bulletin (Allerton Press, Inc.).

Interested persons are kindly asked to make registration to attend (to fill in and send to the Organizing Committee the Application Form) before July 10,  2023. This can be done directly from our web site http://lomcon.ru/ or by sending the filled-in Application Form to the conference organizers by e-mail [email protected] .

We would be very grateful if you could inform your collaborators and colleagues who might be interested in attending the meeting.

Sincerely yours,
Alexander Studenikin,
Chairman
