{"id":900,"date":"2022-12-03T12:10:39","date_gmt":"2022-12-03T09:10:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lomcon.ru\/?page_id=900"},"modified":"2022-12-03T12:20:02","modified_gmt":"2022-12-03T09:20:02","slug":"bulletin-3","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/lomcon.ru\/?page_id=900","title":{"rendered":"Bulletin of 20 LomCon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">Dear Colleagues,<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The 20th\u00a0Lomonosov\u00a0Conference on Elementary Particle Physics which was planed to be held at the Moscow State University during the period of\u00a0 August 19-25, 2021\u00a0 in person will run the same dates remotely.\u00a0 This forced decision is due to the already existing restrictions in holding mass events and traveling between different countries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The following changes occurred in the organization of the Lomonosov Conference:<\/p>\n<p>1) there will be no registration fee,<br \/>\n2) the proceedings of the conference will not be published as a separate book,<br \/>\n3) video recordings of all presentations will be published on the conference website.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The 20th\u00a0Lomonosov\u00a0Conference will be opened on August 19, 2021. The detailed scientific programme of the conference will be available soon on the conference website.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">C<\/span>olleagues who would like to participate in the conference without presenting \u00a0a talk \u00a0should register for the conference by filling in the Application Form on the conference website, then the organizers will provide the relevant information.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The series of the Lomonosov Conferences started to be held on a regular basis in the year 1992, and since 1993 the conferences have been organized each odd year.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">The conference is organized by the Faculty of Physics of the Moscow State University and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna) in cooperation with the <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Institute for Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow)<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia,\u00a0 the Interregional Centre for Advanced Studies<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">,<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"> a<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">n<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">d\u00a0 the Bruno Pontecorvo Neutrino and Astrophysics Laboratory (MSU)<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">. <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">The\u00a0Lomonosov\u00a0Conferences bring together about 400 theorists and experimentalists to review the present status and future prospects in elementary particle physics.
