Dear Colleagues,<\/strong><\/p>\n We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 19th<\/sup> Lomonosov\u00a0Conference on Elementary Particle Physics which will be held at the Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia, from 22 to 28 of August, 2019.<\/p>\n The series of the\u00a0Lomonosov\u00a0Conferences started to be held on a regular basis in the year 1992, and since 1993 the conferences have been organized each odd year.<\/p>\n The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 2019 as the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements. The discovery of the periodic law of changing the chemical and physical properties of elements is an important milestone in the knowledge of the fundamental laws of matter and marked the beginning of the modern stage of development of the concept of the microworld.\u00a0 The 19th<\/sup> Lomonosov Conference is dedicated to the 150th<\/sup> anniversary of the Mendeleev’s Periodic Table of Chemistry Elements.\u00a0 This anniversary at the conference will be marked by a special session.<\/p>\n The conference is organized by the Faculty of Physics of the Moscow State University and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna) in cooperation with the Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics of MSU and the Institute for Nuclear Research of Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow), Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, Russian Foundation for Basic Research,\u00a0\u00a0Interregional Centre for Advanced Studies, and Bruno\u00a0Pontecorvo\u00a0Neutrino and Astrophysics Laboratory (MSU).<\/p>\n The\u00a0Lomonosov\u00a0Conferences bring together more than 400 theorists and experimentalists to review the present status and future prospects in elementary particle physics. The\u00a0programme\u00a0of the 19th\u00a0Lomonosov\u00a0Conference will include:<\/p>\n 1) Electroweak Theory, Tests of Standard Model and Beyond,<\/p>\n 2) Neutrino Physics,\u00a0Astroparticle\u00a0Physics,<\/p>\n 3) Gravitation and Cosmology,<\/p>\n 4) Developments in QCD (Perturbative\u00a0and Non-Perturbative\u00a0Effects),<\/p>\n 5) Heavy Quark Physics,<\/p>\n 6) Physics at Present and Future Accelerators.<\/p>\n The 19th\u00a0Lomonosov\u00a0Conference will be opened on August 22, 2019 at the Faculty of Physics of the Moscow State University.<\/p>\n The working time of the conference is distributed among three types of talks:<\/p>\n 1)\u00a0 Review Talks (25 min) that will be held on the morning sessions of the conference,<\/p>\n 2) Session Reports (20 min) in the afternoon,<\/p>\n 3) Brief Reports (15 min) in the afternoon.<\/p>\n Special Sessions of short presentations (5-10 min) and poster sessions are also planned for the conference.<\/p>\n A special Round Table discussion on \u00abFrontiers in Particle Physics\u00bb will be held during the closing\u00a0\u00a0day of the 19th\u00a0Lomonosov\u00a0Conference, on August 28, 2019 .<\/p>\n As it was for the previous conferences of this series, the proceedings of the 19th\u00a0Lomonosov\u00a0Conference will be published as a book by World Scientific Publ.
